Born in Linz, Austria, on the 16th of August, 1960, Franz Welser-Möst is a conductor, and the seventh and current music director of The Cleveland Orchestra. He has also served tenures with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Zurich Opera House, the Vienna Philharmonic.
