These tracks are compiled from the 3 CD volumes of John Cage Shock, except track B2 which is exclusive to this vinyl release. All works composed in 1961 except side C composed in 1962. A, B1, and D recorded at Mido-Kaikan in Osaka on October 17, 1962. B2 and C recorded at Sogestu Art Center in Aoyama, Tokyo on October 24, 1962. Packaged in single pocket jacket with 8-page booklet including notes in Japanese and English.
