A.k.a. János Lambizi Johnny Lamberti
Hungarian guitarist, mainly active in Greek rock and jazz groups in the 1960's-1980's. In the mid 1960's he was a member of 'Sharks', a band that had Dimitri Tambossis on vocals. For some time he joined Cinquetti and also played with the band accompanying Guidone in 1967. In later years he replaced Τάκης Ανδρούτσος in Μπουρμπούλια, and in 1971 he collaborated with Μαρίζα Κωχ and played with Εξαδάκτυλος. Alongside Δημήτρης Πουλικάκος he appeared on the live record «Ζωντανοί στο Κύτταρο - H Ποπ στην Αθήνα», on the track «Το ξεχασμένο πηγάδι καραδοκούσε το θύμα του» by Αντώνης Τριανταφύλλου, also an old member of 'Sharks', and on the album «Μεταφοραί Εκδρομαί ο Μήτσος» (on «Γυρίσματα του χρόνου»). Αfter his heyday in Greece, Lambizzi returned to Hungary and continued playing music until his death, in March 2019.
