But this is a misprint as the recording took place in 1984. The CD is manufactured by Polygram in Hanover, West Germany. Made & printed in West Germany. The Academy of Ancient Music plays on authentic instruments. Recording location: St. Barnabas Church, London, August 1984 The 40-page booklet contains extensive notes in English, French and German. Booklet and CD are stored in a standard jewel case with black tray. Cover painting: Ascent of Lunardi's Balloon from St. George's Fields, c. 1788-90 by J.C. Ibbortson, Museum of London.
