The Collectors' King Crimson (Volume Nine)

Album JP 2005 on Discipline Global Mobile label
Electronic and Rock (Math Rock, Prog Rock, New Wave, Art Rock, Ambient, Drum’n’Bass, Experimental)

Triple CD set collecting releases #25, #26, and #27 from the King Crimson Collectors' Club. Packaged in a red-tinted box with artwork from each of the discs, and includes an obi-wrap detailing in Japanese each of the discs. Each disc includes its original English language booklet, as well as an additional second booklet with Japanese translations of all English text. While the box displays a catalogue number of "UICE-1117/9", each disc bears its own unique catalogue number on its case and artwork. On CD1, tracks 1 to 4 are recorded on November 21, 1969. Tracks 5 to 8 are recorded the following night, November 22, 1969. They are sourced from an original recording from Michael Giles' personal collection. The beginnings of both versions of "The Court Of The Crimson King" are missing from the original tape.
