Chilean folk duet formed by Violeta Parra and her older sister, Hilda, founded in the late 1940s in Santiago de Chile and active until 1953. They performed in popular places as bars or radio stations (Radio Agricultura), playing tradicional Chilean and also Mexican music. They also gave some 78 RPM releases too.
