Musician / Composer / Producer of Rock and Electronic
A.k.a. Eden Martin
Eden Martin (Sometimes credited as Martin Eden, and often, simply as Eden) is a prolific Producer, Mixer, Programmer, Writer/Composer and occasional Bassist. Hailing from London, Eden started his career working for Björk and legendary producer Nellee Hooper. One of the more memorable projects with Björk was possibly the world's first 360 audio/visual experience combining sound and sculpture at the Le Beute festival in Avignon. The sculpture was conceived by the late designer Alexander McQueen and Kanye West collaborator/director Nick Knight, and was made out of live Maggots! He has contributed to records by Gwen Stefani, Lamb, Holly Valance, Lamya, Robyn Loau, The Beta Band, P Diddy, Kelis, Jimmy Barnes, Gary Numan, MeOne, Wes Carr, Holly Valance and many more. As a Producer/Mixer in his own right, Eden has worked on tracks for Elton John, David Hirschfelder, John Butler, PIG, Deni Hines, Aloe Blacc and THEKINGROCKER. A twist of fate led Eden into the world of TVC composition when he was asked to score the music to Michel Gondry's award-winning "Swap" TVC for Levi's. The track was subsequently released as a single and featured The Sneaker Pimp's Keli Ali on vocals. This became a regular trend for Eden's work with Pepsi, Australia's Next Top Model, Comfort and Singapore's Saving Gaia organisation all releasing record and/or download versions of his work. These days Eden spends his time in the studio composing for TVC's and Show's, Mixing and Sound Designing for Film, and slowly but surely becoming a caffeine-dependent life form. His favourite colour is Navy Blue.
