Nimmersatt started as an improvising trio created by Daan Vandewalle, with veterans Chris Cutler and John Greaves (reunited rhythm section of the legendary Henry Cow), for the Angelica Festival in 2015. After this premiere, they were joined by Jon Rose and became a long lasting project although their performances were scare, with a few appearances each year until 2018. Nimmersatt takes a quasi-compositional approach to de-centered, parallel chaos. Their music is a continuum of independent parts - loud, in your face, and not for the faint hearted. There are no soloists.
