Precursor is an electronic music project by Quirijn Verhoog, in which he combines Electronica and Techno. His first album is very creative and experimental, with references to Moderat and Jon Hopkins. His second EP is an extension of this and further shows the creativity that flows through his mind. After these releases, he has focused more on the Techno aspect of the project and his release Kylmä has a strong influence of Kiasmos. His recent releases on Czech Carelabel Records and the Greek Us & Them imprint show more the darker side of Precursor, where dancefloor rhythms are the base of each track.
