All of the music presented here was recorded on various 4-track cassette machines in Chch, NZ between late '93 & late '96, except: 12,13 - recorded live to 2-track cassette at the Caledonian Hall on Kilmore St, Chch in late '93, and 8, 14 - original 4 track master tapes transferred to Fostex FO-8 digital 8 track with new vocal overdubs recorded by David Khan at the Insanitorium, Worcester St, Chch 26.11.00. 15 mastered to DAT by Peter Wright, mid '96 at Spent Member studios, Ely St, Chch. 1-7, 9-10 mastered to DAT by David Khan & Brett McKersey 12-13 March 2000 at the Insanitorium. 8, 11-14 mastered to DAT by David Khan 26 November - 3 December 2000 at the Insanitorium. Artwork and image processing by Tracey Pagey, Brett McKersey and Ed Wilson. 1, 3-5, 7-9 previously released on Psycho-Kat's '44 Drunken Nites' KRK008, July '94. 6, 8 previously released on the Chch women's music compilation ' The Black Swan' Passage 15, Passage Tapes, November '94. 1 also previously released on kRkRkRk sampler 'Fragment G' KRK020, late '94. 2 also previously released on kRkRkRk sampler '2 Slotted Cores' KRK040, late '95. 14 previously released on leonard Nimoy's 'Metal Monster Gear' KRK059, February '96. 10, 15 previously released on kRkRkRk sampler 'Panic-Stricken Nurse Perambulator' KRK071, late '96. 10 also previously released on kRkRkRk sampler 'The Sequel To Secret Burning Desire' KRK082, August '97. 11-13 previously unreleased and salvaged from buggered 2-track chrome cassettes.
