December 18, 1950, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Died March 26, 2002. Randy began playing drums in the late '60s and played with a number of bands through the '70s after he moved to LA. He became the the drummer with Lita Ford's band in 1984 and played with Ozzy Osbourne from 1985 to 1993. He replaced Tommy Lee in Mötley Crüe in 1999, but left during the 2000 tour with a serious stomach ailment. He was then diagnosed with a form of cancer called squamous cell carcinoma. Despite agressive treatment and what appeared to be a recovery, he died of the disease in March 2002.
