Steppenwolf
Jupiter Child / She'll Be Better

Single US 1969 on ABC/Dunhill Records label
Rock (Blues Rock, Hard Rock, Rock’n’Roll)

This single was quickly pulled in the US (likely before any stock copies made it into circulation) and replaced with Rock Me / Jupiter Child which utilized the same catalog number (D-4182). In other parts of the world, both versions saw full release and were treated as two separate singles. The original pairing was reviewed in Cashbox, 2/15/69. The following issue (2/22/69) reviewed the revised single, stating that the airplay of "Rock Me" as a result of its inclusion in the film "Candy" prompted Dunhill to switch gears.
