Singer / Musician of Rock
Canadian-Swedish singer of Cardiff-based Estrons One-time member of Threatmantics (2009 - 2010; Percussion, Keyboards and Vocals) Formed Estrons with Rhodri Daniel in 2012. Took a break 2014 to have a child and was gigging again within a month of his birth. "It’s the story of a heterosexual female’s battle between desiring a man, whilst simultaneously finding herself having little respect for his self-important ego and misogynistic attitude towards women", explains frontwoman Taliesyn Källström. 'Make A Man' is a rollicking slice of punk with visceral guitars that don't let up even for a second. The drums are sparsely produced, embedding the track with a tectonic urgency that the compliments the raw call-and-response panning of Källström's voice. Estrons write songs that revolve around the topics of dominance, belonging and self doubt. They're a band that truly capture the political-punk Riot Grrrl spirit with the vigour that will inspire generations of bands in the future, driven by the same ideals and passion for making incredible music. Tali appears in Thom Hill's 2013 short film 'Swimming On Dry Land' Thom Hill Vimeo
