A.k.a. The Rogues (13)
US-American Garage band formed 1965 in Bristol, Connecticut. Founder members: Michael Bouyea (dr, g, voc), Thomas Flanigan (lead g, voc), Kurt Robinson (org), John Folcik (b). They were originally known as The Rogues. An instant classic in the garage rock genre, The Squires only became popular in more recent years, with the Songs "Going All The Way," and "Go Ahead," being underrated examples of Untapped talent. Their only single, proves that the Squires succeed in many ways, that more wealthy and popular musicians failed. The single, (released under the Atco Records , only made a small success in their home state of Connecticut, and nowhere else in the country. In 1967, Michael Bouya, and Kurt Robinson was drafted by the US military during the Vietnam War, and the band was all but broken up. However, In 2009, the Band went throught several small reunion gigs, with most of the original members.
