Tracks 1-1 to 1-11 originally released as LP " The Youngbloods " in 1967. Tracks 1-12 to 1-22 originally released as LP " Earth Music " in 1967. Tracks 2-1 to 2-13 originally released as LP " Elephant Mountain " in 1969. Tracks 1-1 to 1-22 recorded at RCA Victor's Studio B, New York City Tracks 2-1 to 2-13 recorded at RCA's Music Center Of The World, Los Angeles, CA Track 1-16 "Sugar Babe " erroneously credited to Young/ Lomax, is a folk song about gambling and drinking that had been printed in American Ballads and Folk Songs, by John A. Lomax and his son Alan Lomax, published in 1934. In a note below "Sugar Babe," the Lomax's state: "words and melody reprinted from the second volume of English Folk Songs of the Southern Appalachians, collected by Cecil Sharp, edited by Maud Karpeles."
