Album US 1997 on Strong Music label
Jazz (Post-Bop, Hard-Bop)
This is obviously an unauthorized release, due to the scant packaging, incorrect song title, lack of composer credits, etc. It is not listed in the discography of Bobby Watson's official website, thought it was released in 1997. The tray card notes it was recorded live in Philadelphia, probably featuring a local rhythm section with Watson and Gary Bartz. For all it's worth, the sound is good, as are the performances, though the drummer is no Victor Lewis. No composer credits are shown, they are provided from my knowledge of Watson's work and over 45 years of collecting jazz. The website given for the label is now owned by someone else, evidently a praise musician.
