Wonderful photography taken at the Blue Note in Paris, after the Dizzy Gillespie concert at Salle Pleyel on February 19, 1953. From left to right, Charles Delaunay, Dizzy Gillespie, Nicole Barclay, Don Byas, Gérard Pochonnet, Sarah Vaughan, Hubert Fol, and rear view, Lorraine Gillespie and D. Forest. Track A4 "G.D.B." is credited to a mysterious 'Alleray'. Track B2 "I Can't Help Lovin' That Man" is credited to Gershwin on release but it's the Jerome Kern - Oscar Hammerstein II standard Track B6 "April in Paris" is credited on release to Davis, probably for arrangement by Wild Bill Davis but it's the popular song composed by Vernon Duke with lyrics by E. Y. Harburg. Release year 1973 according to legal deposit at Bibliothèque Nationale de France, as stated on BNF site.
