These Garner recordings were unrehearsed and spontaneously recorded live in 1944 during a private function in New York City hosted by Baron Timme Rosencrantz. They were originally issued on Dial. The Wallington material comes from a Phil Woods album, Mode ST-127, recorded in New York City in July 1957. The correct titles are given in parentheses. Date Hand Etched In Both Sides Of Dead Wax Is: 10-29-66 – the date of the Premier transfer.
