Released in a 3-panel digipak cover. This bootleg comes from a highly professional, large scale producer, who uses a variety of fake names, label codes and addresses. The text on the backcover contains various spelling errors. "From Highway To Hell" is a collection of rare and in parts unreleased cover-songs performed by Marilyn Manson. ℗ + © Produced by Nothing Ltd. and Marilyn Manson for Off Road Records. Manufactured and distributed in Canada by Victoria Music. A division of Victoria Studios Canada Ltd. 2450 Universal Park Ave, Willowdale, Ontario M2J 4A2. Made in Great Britain. Neither "Nothing Ltd.", "Off Road Records", "Victoria Music" nor "Victoria Studios" exist. The label code given (LC 4589) belongs to Beserkley Records. All images of the artwork have been taken from Marilyn Manson's book "Long Hard Road Out Of Hell". Additional notes (not offered by the release): #1 taken from "Detroit Rock City (Music From The Motion Picture)" (1999). #2 credited to be "Marilyn Manson feat. Shannon K", which is a hoax. It's the original song performed by Type O Negative, just played at higher speed and thus pitched higher. #3 is a cover version, but definitely NOT performed by Marilyn Manson. #4 taken from "Dead Man On Campus" (1998). #5 unofficial "remix". #6 original title: "Theme From M*A*S*H (Suicide Is Painless)", taken from "Blair Witch 2: Book of Shadows" (2000). #7 is listed as a Gary Numan cover, but is in fact a song by Gary Numan's band "Tubeway Army"; B-side taken from Marilyn Manson's maxi-single "Lunchbox" (1995). #8 B-side taken from Marilyn Manson's maxi-single "Disposable Teens Pt. 2" (2000). #9 Marilyn Manson has performed a cover of this Madonna-song on various concerts. Date and location of the recording is unknown. #10 is listed as "NIN acoustic cover from 1988". "Terrible Lie" was first released on NIN's album "Pretty Hate Machine" (1989). This "cover" is a hoax and was not performed by Marilyn Manson. #11 is listed as a "Remix From House On Haunted Hill" but is the original version. The song was used in the movie but not used as part of the official movie score, compiled by Don Davis (4), released by Varese Sarabande (1999). #12 "Sick City" is from the same Charles Manson album ("Lie: The Love & Terror Cult", 1970) that has been a big source of inspiration for Marilyn Manson's album "Portrait Of An American Family" (1994). This song was released for free download on the band's official site on Valentine's Day, 2000. #13 listed as "Iron Man", but is the song "Son Of Man" from "The Beaver Meat Cleaver Beat" demo (1990). It features the music of the Black Sabbath song "Iron Man" but completely different lyrics. #14 listed as "Alterenate Mix" but is the original version, taken from Marilyn Manson's EP "Smells Like Children" (1995). #15 was performed at the New Years Eve concert in 2000 and broadcasted by MTV and 92,3 KROCK. #16 B-side taken from the Australian / Japanese maxi-singles for "Disposable Teens" (2000). #17 performed live (date/location unknown). #18 performed live (date/location unknown). Manson recites a few lines of the Beatles-song, then the band kicks in with "My Monkey". #19 unofficial remix (performer unknown).
