Album JP 2009 on Warner Bros. Records label
R&B/Soul, Spoken Word and Pop (Soul, Ballad, Interview, Spoken Word)
- - overview - - This release is a reworking of "Soundstage" by Seal, broadcast on TV and released on Bluray in the U.S. Mentions of "Soundstage" can barely be found on the sleeve, but the end credits in the film come from the original release. The CD audio is not the same as the DVD 2-channel audio, but a different mix. Most of the onstage chatter by Seal has also been removed - hence the shorter durations on CD. - - DVD bonus features - - No exact track positions or track order is specified on the sleeve. The back sleeve reads: "DVD Bonus Features: Live Acoustic Tracks Performed by Seal and David Foster: If You Don't Know Me By Now • A Change Is Gonna Come • It's A Man's Man's Man's World • and an exclusive Seal and David Foster interview". On the DVD, the interview appears first, followed by the acoustic tracks in one long track – yet accessible only individually. The interviewer is not shown or heard, only questions are displayed on screen. - - technical details, back sleeve - - DVD Picture Format: 16x9 Color Mode: Color Region Code: NTSC All Disc Format: DVD-9 Duration: 82 Minutes Language and audio content: English PCM Stereo Dolby Surround - - logos, back sleeve - - WB Records 143 Records Compact Disc DVD Video Dolby Digital NTSC All Regions LINEAR PCM wttwN National HD Ready, LLC - - DVD menu - - Play All Song List Bonus Features Audio Setup (Stereo, 5.1 Surround) Subtitles (English, Spanish, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, German, Off) - - from sleeve/packaging - - PBS Soundstage 5.1 Mixes mixed at Westlake Audio Mastered at Bernie Grundman Mastering, Hollywood, CA Warner Bros.
