Album US 1962 on Dolton Records label
Rock and Pop (Surf)
This is an actual first pressing from 1962 with Columbia deep groove and prior to Dolton's acquisition by Liberty. All first pressings both mono and stereo were done by Columbia and will carry their dash numbers in matrix (-1A for example). Anything other than this should be considered a post-1963 reissue. Only Columbia pressings should be dated 1962-63; 1963 Columbia pressings with 'Liberty' label should be considered repress since using the original mastered source. Dolton Records - A division of Liberty Records RIAA on the label confirm it is a USA issue
