Jazz and Rock (Avant-garde, Jazz-Rock)
This 'tribute to the music of Frank Zappa' began as an invitation, from organizers of the Jazz Open Festival Stuttgart 1994, to past members of Zappa's bands to perform his works for the festival. This, following Zappa's death in Dec 1993. The group rehearsed the works in both Stuttgart and Los Angeles. The concert was recorded by mobile, 32-track digital, and also filmed and broadcasted on German TV
