Album US 2003 on Art Of Life Records label
Jazz (Post-Bop, Contemporary Jazz)
Living Room Tapes Volumes 1 & 2, plus four previously unreleased bonus tracks. [From Brad Terry] Thanks to: Neil Lamb for taping the Open Book Forum session; Barbara King for use of the Open Book Forum; John "Klondike" Koehler for his help at the Cellar Door session; my son Aaron for hours of typing. For enthusiastic and warm support of the project, thanks to: Lenny's mother, Mrs. Betty Binette; his brother, Dennis Breau; and his son, Chet Breau. Thanks to Mike Tamas for valuable assistance in selecting material for the album. Also, thanks to Paul Glasse and Clay Moore for lending their ears. Special thanks to Ron Forbes-Roberts. Digitally re-mastered at Art of Life Studios in Denver, PA in November 2002 by Paul G. Kohler. All tracks recorded on a Tandberg series 10 x D with 2 Electro Voice DS-35 microphones (a gift from Marshall Dodge, who also wanted us to do something with this stuff). Two CDs packaged in a standard sized 2-Discs plastic clear-tray (two-sided, hinged disc holder) jewel case, along with a four-page foldout booklet, notes in English. Error Note: Disc Two track 6 "Emily" is mistakenly identified as being written by Mercel & Mandel. Mercel should be Mercer, for Johnny Mercer.
