Album US 1968 on Sunset Records label
R&B/Soul and Pop (Soul, Ballad)
This is not a compilation, although the Sunset label is known for budget compilations and reissues of early albums. If you look at his back catalog, none of these songs are available on any of them. These are either unreleased recordings or new songs, either way, it is not a compilation of previously released material . Since Sunset is a subsidiary of Liberty and Carter just released an album on Liberty the year before (he was on Imperial before that), I am assuming it might be songs he recorded for that album that did not make the cut.
