Compil. BR 2009 on Som Livre label
Electronic and Pop (Synth-pop, Dance-pop)
Fabricado e distribuído pela Microservice - Tecnologia Digital da Amazônia Ltda. © 2009 Pet Shop Boys Partnership Ltd under exclusive licence to EMI Records Ltd. ℗ 2009 ℗ 2009 Todos os fonogramas cedidos por EMI Music. Released in a regular jewel case with clear tray. Includes a 6-page fold-out artwork insert. Catalogue number listed as 1580 2 on spine and back insert / 1580-2 on disc. Some errors appear on this release, as the tracklist deviates from the tracks that are actually included. On 18 November 2009 Neil Tennant commented via Twitter that these errors were caused by EMI. The tracklist as printed on the release was the intended tracklist, as can be concluded from the fact that all tracks are in chronological order but Paninaro '95 is placed between Love Comes Quickly (1986) and It's A Sin (1987). It was intended to include the original version of Paninaro, released as the B-side of Suburbia in 1986. The omission of the Ten Inch Mix of West End Girls is compensated by the mistake of the inclusion of the original 1992 Mark Stent 7" mix of Go West, which has so far only surfaced on a few compilation CD's but not on any official Pet Shop Boys release. 1: Mislabeled as "West End Girls (Ten Inch Mix)" 3: Mislabeled as "Paninaro (Seven Inch Mix)" 9: Single Edit 10: This is actually the original and unreleased 1992 Mark Stent 7" mix 12: Album Version A corrected edition was subsequently released: Party / The Greatest Hits.
