Total Playing Time: 73:12 All twenty-four of the Sousa marches included on this Compact Disc were originally recorded on 3-track half-inch tape, using three 201 Telefunken microphones, in the Eastman Theatre in Rochester, N.Y. Numbers 1-12 (originally released as SR90264) were recorded on May 2, 1960; numbers 13-24 (originally SR 90284), on May 5, 1961. Only ORIGINAL MASTERS used for transfer to Compact Disc.
